Huron River Radiation Oncology Specialists (HRROS), PC, is a well-established group in Southeast Michigan seeking a radiation oncologist. This position is a full-time, hospital-based, and partnership track in Southeast Michigan MI starting Fall 2026.
HRROS is a private practice, independent group of eight physicians, expanding to nine with the addition of this physician. We are a busy group practice that is closely affiliated with the Trinity Health system, including established clinic sites in Ann Arbor, Chelsea, Brighton, Canton, and Livonia, MI as well as a developing site in Pontiac, MI located on the campus of Trinity Health Oakland. HRROS is a well-established group within the hospital system with strong relationships with interdisciplinary teams, and consistent accrual to national cooperative group trials. HRROS actively participates in a Physician Organization and ACO with IHA (large, multi-specialty group owned by Trinity) and other closely affiliated independent group practices. The Department benefits from a hospital-based EMR (Epic) and strong hospital-based staff and management, including a regional Executive Director for Oncology, a Director of Radiation Oncology, and strong managers for each of the following staff groups: radiation therapists; physics/dosimetry; and nursing/social work. A full range of cancer support services is available at each location. Our care philosophy is collegial, multidisciplinary and patient-centered.
TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES: HRROS has all of the latest technology including Varian linear accelerators, CT simulators with 4D capabilities at all sites, CyberKnife, and linear accelerator-based SBRT capabilities. We perform HDR and LDR prostate brachytherapy as well as administer radiopharmaceuticals. The members of our technical team - physics, dosimetry, radiation therapists - are all highly capable and at the cutting edge of the latest technology.

Requirements
The ideal candidate must be Board Certified in Radiation Oncology, with at least 3 years of work experience. Some restrictions might apply. Candidates should have ample experience in all techniques of external beam radiation therapy, SRS/SBRT, brachytherapy and unsealed sources. Candidates must secure an unrestricted Michigan State Medical License as MD/DO and unrestricted federal DEA license. References should be available upon request.
